The boy's description of lookbook, I was rolling on the floor laughing at all the thought he'd put into it.
"lookbook is pretty sweet. actually cara, listen, the way i see it, fashion magazines are put together by these fashionista editor-types who decide what's cool, what's hot, what's hip. they're filled with ads from the designers to show all the readers what they should look like. it's all really top-down. you know, like, "the man" telling you what you want. but that's the sweet thing about lookbook! it's totally grassroots, a bottom-up angle on the whole thing! it's kinda like obama politics! pretty much a user-generated magazine - like youtube is for tv. girls all around the world get to be models and set the trends rather than just follow them..."
lol that's sort of truth, but i don't like too much lookbook i think some of the people either pretend or try too hard.
